Algorand, a leading blockchain company that focuses on providing scalable, secure, and decentralized solutions for developers and enterprises has announced the launch of its “Creating Impact” competition. to foster blockchain innovation across India’s Web3 community.¬†

The competition is part of AlgoBharat Road to Impact which sets out on a journey that goes beyond traditional hackathons and meetups, with a focus on producing remarkable solutions in India. As such, the competition is open to both individuals and developer teams, as well as founders of startups and companies. It aims to provide a platform for participants to leverage their collective knowledge, skills, and resources to develop innovative solutions on the Algorand blockchain.

The AlgoBharat Road to Impact will kick off with “Creating Impact!” Pitch Competition, while crossing through multiple cities in India, and finalizing at the Algorand Impact Summit in New Delhi on November 30 and December 1, 2023.

Per the announcement, registration for AlgoBharat’s Road to Impact opened on July 26, and aspiring participants can sign up for the Creating Impact competition until August 15. The initial deadline for project submissions is October 1, and finalists will be announced on November 3. These selected finalists will then showcase their solutions on the grand stage at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, during the Algorand Impact Summit.

Notably, the competition will see up to 10 teams selected as finalists, who will have the opportunity to pitch their impactful solutions at the Algorand Impact Summit and compete for exciting prizes. Apparently, the event promises to celebrate innovation, encourage collaboration, and fuel the growth of the Algorand ecosystem in India and beyond.

Furthermore, a series of activities have been lined up to prepare participants for the journey. The activities include community meetups, live development-related workshops, virtual boot camps, and project feedback sessions. In addition to this, teams will have the opportunity to receive guidance, mentorship, and feedback on their solutions during one-on-one office hours. AlgoBharat ambassadors in various cities across India, such as Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, will host meetups to foster further collaboration and support.

The announcement further notified that while projects in the working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) stage are encouraged, a limited number of projects in the ideation stage may also be considered based on their uniqueness and potential impact.
